Xanax XR Drug Interactions

When antidepressants, barbiturates, or antipsychotic medicines are combined with Xanax XR, drug interactions can occur. These interactions can alter the amount of Xanax XR in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects (such drowsiness, confusion, memory loss, or difficulty breathing). If Xanax XR drug interactions are a concern, your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely or may adjust your dosages.
