Vivactil and Breastfeeding

At this point, no research has been conducted on Vivactil and breastfeeding. Due to the chemical makeup of the medication, however, the drug most likely passes through breast milk. Since researchers are not sure what the effects to a nursing baby might be, you should talk to your healthcare provider about Vivactil and breastfeeding to weigh the benefits and possible risks.
