Thiothixene: Storage Methods

Thiothixene should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Thiothixene capsules should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep thiothixene and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

Thiothixene: What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your thiothixene as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double your dose of thiothixene.
 

Thiothixene: Strengths

Thiothixene capsules are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Thiothixene 1 mg (available in generic only, as brand-name thiothixene 1 mg capsules are no longer available)
  • Thiothixene 2 mg
  • Thiothixene 5 mg
  • Thiothixene 10 mg
  • Thiothixene 20 mg.
 

Thiothixene Alternatives
