Serzone® (
nefazodone hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of
depression (also known as major depression or clinical depression).
Serzone was first manufactured by Bristol-Myers Squibb. However, it has since come off patent and is available as a generic. In fact, Bristol-Myers Squibb has voluntarily stopped making Serzone, due to concerns of liver damage
(see Serzone and Liver Failure).
