Apraclonidine (Iopidine)
You should not use apraclonidine eye drops while taking the selegiline transdermal patch, due to the risk of dangerously high blood pressure (hypertension).

Atomoxetine (Strattera)
Strattera and the selegiline transdermal patch should not be taken together, or within two weeks of each other, due to the risks of dangerous side effects.

Brimonidine (Alphagan P)
You should not use brimonidine eye drops while taking the selegiline transdermal patch due to the risk of dangerously high blood pressure.

Buspirone (BuSpar)
You should not take buspirone while taking the selegiline transdermal patch (or if you have taken the selegiline transdermal patch within the past 14 days) due to the risk of dangerously high blood pressure.

Caffeine
You should use caffeine sparingly while taking the selegiline transdermal patch due to the risk of dangerously high blood pressure. Be aware that many foods and medicines (such as "stay-awake" products and migraine products) contain caffeine.

Carbamazepine (Tegretol, Tegretol XR)
Do not take carbamazepine and the selegiline transdermal patch within two weeks of each other due to the risk of dangerous side effects, such as high blood pressure or seizures.

Cough, Cold, and Allergy Products
Taking the selegiline transdermal patch with many cough, cold, and allergy products (including eye drops or nasal products) can increase your risk of dangerous side effects, such as high blood pressure. Most of these products should never be taken with the selegiline transdermal patch. Always check with your healthcare provider before taking any cough, cold, or allergy products.
