Overdose With Quetiapine XR

People who take too much quetiapine XR may have overdose symptoms that could include:
 
  • An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
  • Drowsiness
  • Low blood potassium (hypokalemia)
  • A rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Low blood pressure (hypotension)
  • Coma
  • Loss of life.
     
If you happen to overdose on quetiapine XR, seek immediate medical attention.

Quetiapine XR should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Quetiapine XR should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep quetiapine XR and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

Quetiapine XR: What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your quetiapine XR as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double your dose of quetiapine XR.
