14 Weeks Pregnant

By the time you are 14 weeks pregnant, your baby weighs about 1 ounce. At this point, your baby's sex organs have become distinctly male or female and the vocal cords are complete. When you are 14 weeks pregnant, you should be experiencing less nausea; however, you may now be experiencing constipation. At week 14 of your pregnancy, your body is preparing for breastfeeding by growing new milk ducts.

14 Weeks Pregnant: An Overview

You are 14 weeks pregnant.
Congratulations -- you are now in your second trimester! You may be starting to feel better. For a lot of women, the second trimester of pregnancy is when they are most energetic.

At this time, you may have gained a few pounds. Keep in mind, the amount of weight you gain does not directly correspond to the weight of your baby. If you gain a ton of weight, it does not necessarily mean you will deliver a huge baby.

When you are 14 weeks pregnant, your baby is about 3.2 to 4.5 inches long and weighs about 1 ounce.
