Perphenazine Drug Interactions

Perphenazine can potentially interact with a number of other medicines (see Drug Interactions With Perphenazine).
 

Perphenazine: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking perphenazine if you have:
 
  • Kidney disease, including kidney failure (renal failure)
  • A blood disorder
  • Brain damage
  • Breathing problems, including infections, asthma, or emphysema
  • Glaucoma
  • Very high or very low blood pressure
  • An enlarged prostate (also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH)
  • Difficulty passing urine
  • Any allergies, including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives.
     
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
You should also make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all of the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
