Drug Interactions With PaliperidoneA number of drugs can increase a person's risk of developing a dangerous irregular heart rhythm called QT prolongation. A few of these drugs include certain antibiotics, arrhythmia medications, and phenothiazine medicines. Because paliperidone can also increase the risk of QT prolongation, it should generally not be combined with any of the medications discussed above. In order to reduce the chances of drug interactions with paliperidone, be sure to tell your healthcare provider (prior to taking paliperidone) about every other drug you are taking.
