Were you looking for information about Methamphetamine? Methaphtamine is a common misspelling of methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine is a prescription medication that is used for the short-term treatment of obesity and for treating ADHD. The medication is a stimulant that works by producing a calming effect in people with ADHD; it can also work as an appetite suppressant and metabolism booster to treat those with obesity. Side effects associated with the medicine include headache, dry mouth, restlessness, and insomnia. Because methamphetamine is a form of amphetamine that can be addictive and abused, it should only be taken as prescribed.
