Methadome

Were you looking for information about Methadone? Methadome is a common misspelling of methadone.

A healthcare provider may prescribe methadone hydrochloride (Diskets®, Dolophine®, Methadose®) to treat moderate-to-severe pain. This prescription narcotic can also be used by licensed clinics for detoxification and maintenance treatment of heroin addiction (or other types of morphine-like drug addictions).

Methadone is a controlled substance and has a significant potential for both physical and psychological dependence and abuse. Because this medication is not suitable for everyone, tell your healthcare provider about any existing medical conditions you may have or any other medications you are taking before beginning treatment.
