Precautions and Warnings With Maprotiline
Before you start a new medication, make sure you are aware of the drug's precautions and warnings. With maprotiline, you should be aware of the possible side effects of the medicine, such as dry mouth, changes in blood sugar levels, and suicidal thoughts or behavior. Certain people should not take maprotiline, including those who are allergic to any components of the drug, have taken an MAOI within the past 14 days, or have recently had a heart attack.
