Some drugs can cause negative interactions with L-methylfolate, including certain anti-seizure medicines, bile acid sequestrants, and pyrimethamine. Some of these reactions can change the amount of the medications in the blood, possibly making them less effective. Before taking L-methylfolate, tell your healthcare provider about any other medications, herbs, or supplements you are taking.
