Drug interactions may increase the amount of iloperidone in your blood, possibly leading to serious complications. An Overview of Iloperidone Drug Interactions

Iloperidone (Fanapt®) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to drug interactions with iloperidone include:
  • Alcohol or other substances or medications that cause drowsiness
  • Blood pressure medications
  • CYP 2D6 inhibitor medications, including (but not limited to):



  • CYP 3A4 inhibitor medications, including (but not limited to):



  • Medications that cause a certain change in the heart rhythm known as QT prolongation (see QT-Prolonging Medications for a list of such medications).
