What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose of Aripiprazole ER Injection?

If you miss an appointment to receive a dose of aripiprazole ER injection, contact your healthcare provider as soon as you remember. He or she will tell you what to do. Depending on how much time has passed, you may have to take an oral antipsychotic, such as oral Abilify, for the first two weeks after your dose to help control your symptoms rapidly.
It is very important to try and remember all your scheduled appointments. Your symptoms may return if you miss a dose.
