Serious Librium Side Effects
Some side effects with
Librium, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:
- Depression (or worsening of existing depression)
- Severe dizziness or problems with balance, especially if this causes you to fall
- Low blood pressure (hypotension)
- Suicidal thoughts
- Difficulty breathing
- Anxiety, excitation, or agitation
- Hostility, aggression, or rage
- Hallucinations
- Signs of blood disorders, including easy bruising or bleeding or frequent infections
- Signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the whites of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
- Signs of an allergic reaction, including an unexplained rash, hives, itching, and unexplained swelling.

It is possible that you may experience some or none of the Librium side effects listed in this article.
