Imiprimine

Were you looking for information about Imipramine? Imiprimine is a common misspelling of imipramine.

Imipramine is a prescription medicine that is used for the treatment of depression in adults. The antidepressant is available as two products: imipramine hydrochloride (Tofranil®) and imipramine pamoate (Tofranil PM®). While both products contain the same active component and generally work the same way, there are several differences between them. For example, imipramine pamoate is licensed only for depression treatment, while imipramine hydrochloride is also licensed to treat bedwetting in children. Also, one product one comes in tablet form while the other comes in capsule form. Finally, the two products are available in different strengths.
