Were you looking for information about
Haloperidol? Haliperidol is a common misspelling of haloperidol.

Haloperidol (Haldol®) is a drug that is licensed to treat several conditions, including psychotic disorders, tics due to Tourette syndrome, severe behavior problems in children, and severe ADHD in children. The prescription medication works by blocking or lessening the effects of a certain chemical in the brain (dopamine) that can become elevated in people with these conditions.

Haloperidol is available as a tablet, an oral solution, and an injection. Some of the factors that can affect the dose of haloperidol that your healthcare provider prescribes include the medical condition being treated, the severity of your condition, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you may be currently taking.
