Drug Interactions With DexmethylphenidateSome of the drugs that can potentially interact with dexmethylphenidate include SSRI antidepressants, pressors, and warfarin. Drug interactions with dexmethylphenidate can possibly increase your risk of bleeding, alter the levels of some drugs in your blood, or cause an increase in side effects like increased blood pressure and heart rate. Also, because of the risk of life-threatening side effects, you should not take MAO inhibitors along with dexmethylphenidate unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.
