Precautions and Warnings With Dexmethylphenidate Extended-Release

There are a number of precautions and warnings with dexmethylphenidate extended-release to be aware of, including potential drug interactions, the risk of sudden death in some people taking the drug, and the safety of taking it while breastfeeding. There are also certain situations in which you should not take dexmethylphenidate extended-release.   • Breastfeeding.
     
It is important to also tell your healthcare provider about all of the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
