Side Effects of Dexmethylphenidate Extended-Release

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with dexmethylphenidate extended-release. However, not everyone who takes dexmethylphenidate extended-release will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate dexmethylphenidate extended-release well. When dexmethylphenidate extended-release side effects do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
Some of the most common side effects of dexmethylphenidate extended-release include:
 
Dexmethylphenidate extended-release can cause high blood pressure in some people. Usually, this increase in blood pressure is temporary and does not cause any problems. Dexmethylphenidate extended-release can also increase the chance of seizures and can make certain heart conditions and mental problems worse.
