Desyrel Drug Interactions

When certain antibiotics, protease inhibitors, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors are taken with Desyrel, drug interactions may occur. These interactions can alter the level of Desyrel in your blood and increase your risk of side effects. To minimize the risk of developing Desyrel drug interactions, you should tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking -- both prescription and non-prescription -- before starting the antidepressant.
