If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In this case, simply skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
If you forget to take your dose for two days or longer, contact your healthcare provider. You will need to be restarted on a lower dose and slowly increased to your previous amount. Your healthcare provider will give you instructions on how to restart the medication.
Clozapine oral suspension should be stored at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze this medication. Also, protect it from direct light. Discard any unused medication 100 days after first opening the bottle.
