Bupropion Hydrobromide

Bupropion hydrobromide tablets are prescribed to treat depression in adults. This antidepressant works by balancing the levels of certain chemicals in the brain. Because it is a long-acting medication, it is only taken once a day in the morning. You may not be able to take this drug if you have certain medical conditions, such as heart disease, epilepsy, or bipolar disorder.

Are There Side Effects?

As with any medicine, bupropion hydrobromide can cause side effects.
 However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. Most people tolerate it quite well.
 
If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
