Drug Interactions With AmoxapineCertain medications can cause drug interactions with amoxapine, including anticholinergic medications, cimetidine, and SSRI antidepressants. Taking these medicines together can increase the level of amoxapine in your blood and increase the risk for side effects. Potential side effects may include drowsiness or dizziness, suicidal thoughts, and QT prolongation. Other medications that may lead to amoxapine drug interactions include barbiturates, arrhythmia medications, and other tricyclic antidepressants.
