Drug Interactions With AlprazolamAmong the medications that may potentially cause drug interactions with alprazolam are protease inhibitors, barbiturates, and certain antibiotics or antifungals. Alprazolam drug interactions can increase your risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, confusion, memory loss, or difficulty breathing. To reduce your chances of developing alprazolam interactions, be sure to talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any interactions that may apply to you.
